Update 6 Released For Madden 24

Update 6 Released For Madden 24

EA has releases a new game update for Madden NFL 24, fixing a number of persistent gameplay issues and updating a some players’ appearances.

The patch addressed a number of bugs with Madden’s gameplay and some of its most-played game modes.

The most important changes that Title Update 6 brought were fixes to the on-field gameplay, along with a variety of improvements to the game’s general stability.

The game’s different modes; Franchise Mode, Superstar Mode, and Madden Ultimate Team also received some general fixes across a variety of issues.

In addition to the live updates of current players’ in-game ratings, some NFL players’ likenesses were also updated. Former Seattle Seahawks QB Brett Rypien, Los Angeles Chargers QB Easton Stick, and Denver Broncos QB Jarrett Stidham, all received likeness updates.

Meanwhile, EA Sports continues to release steady live content for the game as the current season rolls on. The last Madden 24 in-game season update launched in mid-November, which brought back some familiar in-game events such as The Harvest and Blitz PREM1ERE, while also paying tribute to former Atlanta Falcons QB Michael Vick’s time as a Madden cover star from the 2004 edition.

Madden NFL 24 Title 6 Update Patch Notes

New Madden NFL 24 Update Released

Madden 24 Update

EA Sports has released a new Madden NFL 24 update, fixing the kicking UI covering the kick meter that has come up.

The developer notes also mention they are working on the dropped passes and interceptions on the competitive game setting. It sounds like a fix for the issue is coming in a future title update.

Without further ado, let us take a look at Title Update 3.1 to check out everything new with Madden 24.

Madden 24 Title Update 3.1 Full Patch Notes
  • Gameplay
    • Addressed an issue where the Kicking UI blocked visibility of the Kick Meter.
  • Dev Note
    • The team is continuing to actively work on unintended dropped catches & interceptions while playing on the Competitive game setting with improvements coming in a future Title Update.
  • Superstar KO
    • Addressed key issues with Superstar KO and as a result the mode has been ungated.

Very underwhelming update.

Hopefully we don’t have to deal with the kicking bug anymore. Sounds like we have to wait and hope to see a resolution on dropped passes.

Tua & Dak Headline Newest Madden 24 Player Ratings Update

Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins put up “video game numbers” in Week 3 and his new Madden rating reflects as much.

The Week 3 roster update for Madden saw the Miami quarterback get a 2 point boost from an 85 rating to an 87. Tagovailoa was 23-of-26 for 309 touchdowns and four touchdowns in the victory.

Tagovailoa is now up to 1,024 yards on the season with eight touchdowns and two interceptions. He looks like a MVP candidate for the 3-0 Dolphins. Tua wasn’t the only player from the Dolphins to see a significant bump, as running backs Raheem Mostert and Devon Achane also saw a rise in ratings.

Mostert rose from an 80 to an 82 after a performance that saw him rush for 82 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries while also adding seven catches for 60 yards and a touchdown in the passing game.

Achane rose three points from a 75 to a 78 after a massive game that saw him get 18 carries for 203 yards and two touchdowns on the ground while also chipping in four catches for 30 yards and two touchdowns.

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert also rose two points and now sits at a 90. He was 40-of-47 for 405 yards and four touchdowns in a 28-24 win over the Minnesota Vikings that saw the Chargers earn their first win of the season.

Defensively, T.J. Watt was a riser as he moved from a 96 to a 97 following a two-sack performance for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The most notable downgrade this week came to Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, who went from an 87 to an 85. This came after he went 25-of-40 for 249 yards with a touchdown and an interception in a 28-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
