Lamar Jackson & CeeDee Lamb Top Madden 24 Week 17 Ratings Update

Lamar Jackson, CeeDee Lamb Top Madden 24 Ratings Update After Week 17

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb earned boosts to their overall ratings in the latest Madden 24 update.

Jackson was phenomenal during the Ravens’ 56-19 victory over the Miami Dolphins, throwing for 321 yards and five touchdowns on just 21 pass attempts which resulted in a perfect 158.3 passer rating.

Lamb destroyed the Detroit Lions, hauling in 13 receptions for 227 yards and a touchdown. After his big night, he now holds Dallas’ single-season record for catches as well as receiving yards. Lamb has 122 receptions for 1,651 yards in 2023.

Several other notable players saw their ratings increase following Week 17’s action. The list includes Atlanta Falcons safety Jessie Bates III, New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner, Tampa Bay Buccaneers tackle Tristan Wirfs, and Jacksonville Jaguars pass-rusher Josh Allen.

Despite the Jets’ 37-20 defeat at the hands of the Cleveland Browns, Gardner has remained one of the few bright spots on New York’s roster this year. He picked up his 10th pass defensed of the season and earned his second Pro Bowl nod in two years on Wednesday.

Wirfs similarly shined during a loss, as the Buccaneers were unable to defeat the Chicago Bears. The 24-year-old has been the linchpin of a Tampa Bay offensive line that has protected quarterback Baker Mayfield admirably.

Jaguars pass-rusher Josh Allen has continues to see his overall increase, as the former No. 7 overall pick is in the midst of a career year. He recorded three sacks as Jacksonville’s defense shut out the Carolina Panthers, bringing his season total to 16.5. That’s the second-highest mark in the NFL.

Bates III shined in spite of the Falcons’ 37-17 loss to the Chicago Bears, recording a team-leading 11 tackles. He’s currently the highest-rated safety in the game at 97 overall after beginning the season with a 91 rating. Bates II has set career-high marks in interceptions, forced fumbles, and solo tackles in his first season with Atlanta.

Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins put up “video game numbers” in Week 3 and his new Madden rating reflects as much.

The Week 3 roster update for Madden saw the Miami quarterback get a 2 point boost from an 85 rating to an 87. Tagovailoa was 23-of-26 for 309 touchdowns and four touchdowns in the victory.

Tagovailoa is now up to 1,024 yards on the season with eight touchdowns and two interceptions. He looks like a MVP candidate for the 3-0 Dolphins. Tua wasn’t the only player from the Dolphins to see a significant bump, as running backs Raheem Mostert and Devon Achane also saw a rise in ratings.

Mostert rose from an 80 to an 82 after a performance that saw him rush for 82 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries while also adding seven catches for 60 yards and a touchdown in the passing game.

Achane rose three points from a 75 to a 78 after a massive game that saw him get 18 carries for 203 yards and two touchdowns on the ground while also chipping in four catches for 30 yards and two touchdowns.

Tyreek Hill & Micah Parsons Headline Madden 24 Week 2 Player Ratings Update

Madden 24 Ratings Update Week 2

Following the Week 2 installment of ratings updates for Madden NFL 24, we have a new member of the 99 Club.

Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill has been elevated to the 99 Club. Hill actually received the honor following Miami’s victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football. When is the Madden 24 ratings reveal?

Madden 24 Player Rating Release

With Madden 24 now officially revealed, EA has been revealing more and more details about the upcoming release. From the recent gameplay deep dive to the franchise overview, there’s a lot to be excited about. One of the most anticipated releases every year is that of the player ratings.

In recent years, EA has made a week-long event of Madden’s player ratings reveal. For Madden 23 and Madden 22, the publisher teamed up with ESPN for Madden Ratings Week. The sports network offered programming dedicated to the discussion of Madden’s ratings. It’s a big deal, and not just for fans but for the players too.

With Madden 24 set to release in a little over a month on August 18, it’s only a matter of time before EA begins its player ratings reveal for this year. So when can we expect player ratings to start releasing?

When is the Madden 24 ratings reveal?

EA hasn’t announced when they will begin revealing player ratings for Madden 24 but it will take place in July. ESPN’s Madden 23 Ratings Week kicked off last year Monday, July 18, 2022, while Madden 22 Ratings Week started on July 23, 2021.

Assuming EA follows a similar schedule for Madden 24, then the third week of July for 2023 runs from July 17 through July 21. It’s likely that the ratings for Madden 24 will be revealed around then. At worst we should see the ratings reveal coming between July 24 and July 28.
