NBA 2K22 Releases New Pack Features and Shaq Season 6 Agenda Unit

Season 6: Zero Gravity’s newest adds a legend to the player pool.

Players putting time into the Agenda challenges can obtain one new unit each day and use them in a challenge for a chance to grab the next unit on the following day. NBA 2K22 Season 6 releases units ranked from Gold tier up to one Dark Matter unit, which can be obtained on the last day of the event.

Shaq joins the roster of players obtainable through the Season 6 challenges. He is represented as a center for the Cleveland Cavaliers and can be obtained for free following a challenge using the previously released Grant Williams unit.

NBA 2K22 is also releasing a new pack series called “Fan Favorites” that will feature three new items. A Galaxy Opal Jonathan Isaac (98-overall), Dark Matter Kristaps Porzingis (99-overall), and Dark Matter Kevin Durant (99-overall) are the players involved. For Durant, it marks the second time this month that he’s been featured in a release, with his player card receiving a boost earlier in the month.

FIFA 22 TOTW 30 Drops Today

Team of the Week 30 is live. There are a few decent cards included and one big one.

Kylian Mbappe is the star of the release, getting a 94 OVR card, with his Headliners card also increasing to 96 OVR.

Nicolo Barella’s Headliners card becomes a 89 OVR, Julian Brandt will has an 87-rated Headliner.

Ciro Immobile also makes for a nice addition, with a 90 OVR.

The new cards will be available in packs for one week only, with some top players set to feature this week.

Halo Infinite Is About To Get Some Juice

Halo Infinite, released last November, is the first game in the series to feature a free-to-play model. It’s continued success is built around a seasonal framework. For the most part the game has been met with positive reviews but criticized for the expensive cosmetics and a general lack of new content.

Season two, “Lone Wolves,” is set to release on May 3 and it looks like something people are going to want to check out. Developer 343 Industries dropped a brief trailer that included a reel of new maps and cosmetics.

In January, 343 announced that players could earn credits that could be spent on Halo’s microtransactions via simply playing but didn’t get into the details. Now, we have some.

Those who buy the premium battle pass for season two, which cost 1,000 credits, can earn 1,000 credits over the course of the pass. In theory you could bank those 1,000 credits and spend them on the premium battle pass for season three.

“Free money” isn’t the only thing worht mentioning, Infinite is getting a bunch of new additions next month, including two new maps.

Arena playlists will get Catalyst, a map that looks to be set on a Forerunner structure. Big Team Battle is getting a new map called Breaker. Unfortunately 343 still hasn’t yet featured remade versions of popular maps from previous games.

King of the Hill will be available from the start of the season. As will Attrition, the team-based deathmatch that was playable for a few weeks in January.

Last Spartan Standing mode is also being added. It’s a “free-for-all elimination mode,”according to the release but details, like its release date or even a an explanation of how it works, haven’t been made available.

The big question for Halo players is if Season 2 can pull players back in.

New FIFA 22 Ultimate Team Captains Promo Details

Fifteen new cards have been added to the market.

FIFA 22 Ultimate Team unveiled its newest promotion on Friday including captains and vice-captains from around the world.

The promotions looks to have delivered some of the best cards in the game to date. Here is a full list of the added players:

  • Clint Dempsey (91)
  • Marco Reus (93)
  • Wissam Ben Yedder (92)
  • Hugo Lloris (92)

The first team, announced Friday, includes four Hero Captains. There will likely be another team released next Friday.

The following three player cards are likely to be highly coveted:

Di Natale: He has five-star skills, four-star weak foot and 95 dribbling. Add in the Hawk chemistry style on him and it all adds up to a great option.

Ben Yedder: This is his most upgraded card of the year. In addition to his skills, his French nationality will make him a popular, linkable part of any squad.

Lloris: Lloris will be able to link with any of the plentiful options of French centre-backs in the Ligue 1 division.

NBA 2K22 Season 6 Rewards Revealed, Release Date Confirmed

NBA 2K22 Zero Gravity has been confirmed. Season 6 will bring new rewards and challenges to MyTEAM and MyCAREER, just as the NBA Playoff picture starts to get some clarity.

NBA 2K22 Zero Gravity will release Friday, April 8 and will run until approximately mid May. The official Zero Gravity release noted that it will be a “five week journey”.

Zero Gravity Rewards Revealed

While the full reward release information in its entirety won’t be known until NBA 2K22 Zero Gravity goes live in MyTEAM and MyCAREER, we do have some information.

In MyCAREER, players will be working towards the Level 40 Reward of Hops!, a bunny suit that can be worn by their MyPLAYER.

Here are all the NBA 2K22 Zero Gravity rewards we know about and how you’ll be able to unlock them:

  • Invincible DM Dirk Nowitzki (99 OVR)
    • Reward for collecting 4,000 cards, and if you also complete the Collector Level Lifetime Agenda Group you’ll receive an 80-Card Pack containing every Hall of Fame badge
  • Gold Giannis Antetokounmpo (74 OVR) – Releasing April 11
  • MyTEAM Level 40 Reward: DM Josh Giddey (99 OVR)
  • Unlimited Reward: DM Bob Netolicky (99 OVR)
  • Clutch Time 100 Wins Reward: DM James Worthy (99 OVR)
  • Clutch Time Wheel Spin Reward: DM Albert King (99 OVR)

NBA 2K22 Update 1.015 Released Today

NBA 2K22 update 1.015 for next-gen platforms has been released. This includes various fixes for MyCareer, gameplay as well as preps the game for Season 6, which starts this Friday.

Here are the patch notes:

GENERAL

  • Preparations for NBA 2K22 Season 6, launching this Friday, April 8th, at 10AM CST
  • Clarified  the Quarter Length and Difficulty settings come from the host player when playing with friends
  • Paolo Banchero received a tattoo update

GAMEPLAY

  • Addressed an issue that could cause certain takeovers to be applied to player builds that were not allowed

MyCAREER/CITY

  • Various stability and performance improvements have been made throughout the City
  • Updated the location for the Photo Challenge: Traditional Photo 7 quest so it can be completed properly
  • Resolved a display issue that could cause certain users to temporarily display their level from the previous season after a season changeover

MyNBA

  • Addressed a rare hang that could occur when using specific custom rosters and attempting to play shortened 29 or 58 game seasons in MyNBA

FIFA 22 Ultimate Team Leak Reveals New FUT Promo

Leaks have surfaced on social media revealing what the next FUT promo could be. A reliable Twitter FUT leaker FUTSheriff provided the latest news as he revealed that the FUT Hero Captain or FUT Captain rarity will be added to the game in the near future.

The Heroes promo involves retired players who were not necessarily legends of the game, but more cult heroes.

We still have a bit of time until FUT’s next promo is confirmed, but it looks like a good one is coming soon.

E3 2022 Canceled

E3 is canceled for 2022, it marks the second time in three years E3 has been canceled. A digital event had previously been announced, that has also been canceled.

“We previously announced that E3 would not be held in person in 2022 due to the ongoing health risks surrounding COVID-19. Today, we announce that there will also be no digital E3 showcase in 2022,” the ESA said today. “Instead, we will devote all our energy and resources to delivering a revitalized physical and digital E3 experience next summer.”

As E3 struggles to stay relevant amid technology advancements and all-digital events, this may be the end. Publishers are moving away from one singular week of releases and instead toward one-off events that happen throughout the year. Sony hasn’t taken part in E3 since 2018. Earlier this month, EA cancelled its annual showcase, EA Play Live. Instead, EA will reveal developments and releases in individual announcements as details become ready for the public.
